iPad is still BUSY,BUSY,BUSY…. kidding?

Now I’ll give you two option, before start yelling at me, “You arrogant son of b****”, first you can say something like what I presented as an example, or second you can keep reading and say, “I pitty you.”

I am not usual offline buyer, which means, I always keep myself not to be at offline; price and taxes are just bloody in offline anyway. There could be a lot of argument against and for for the actual shopping, rather than just buy what you want in the online. Since online doesn’t provide full support-questions you want to ask, etc.-, and usually with free shipping option, you probably going to wait for 2 to 3 weeks. -I hate waiting-

iPad came out around April, and as we already know of, it is still making quite a money for Apple. For consumers who wants it, basically saying “Well, you gotta wait for month.” I bought my macbook pro in Apple Online Store -though I totally regret it later- and it delivered in 2 to 3 days later with faster shipping option. The reason that I got so frustrated with iPad is, that Apple doesn’t have enough stocks of iPad in their warehouse, so that I have to wait until it actually “produced” and sends.

I understand Apple is really having trouble with delivering out their new products, since the pre-orders and etc. etc. got really tension, that none of other company had. But my question, are they really going to keep doing this; they have never even tried to solve their early stock prepare, which supposedly make things smoother than just wait for 3 weeks.

Thankfully, because of that slow shipping, I would get my iPhone and the iPad on the same last week of July. Yeah, yeah, everyone who will get my boxes are going to say, “you got to be crazy”.

One thing that always disturb me in Mac OSX

It is about 2 or half and a year, since I started using Mac as my primary OS. To be honest, I loved MS-DOS than Windows for variety of reason: cooler, easier, never break -at least that I never had-. After that, I found out Mac actually do what I expected to do from OS, so I made my mind to migrate. Apparently, thanks to Apple inc., they started “Boot Camp” support, so that I could use both Mac and Windows.

Mac has fascinating UI with stable maintenance system and no virus. Virus part is something debatable, but for UI, undeniable. Compare to Windows XP and Windows Vista to Mac, there was no detail work to do. -For Windows 7, I would say “Well, what a wonderful hackintosh”, but still it is not stable for me-

But one thing, that kept me going to Windows for quite time. Most of browsers in Mac doesn’t support maximizing Window. It’s bit strange though, despite the fact most of the website has 1024×768 resolution. I mean, my MacBook Pro got 1280×800 screen, but in reality because of the dock and the bar, we can’t really use 800 height, which means smaller screen in Mac. After all, Mac has a bit bigger font for default, so it could start irritate you in a lot way, when you start scrolling around for long-in-length article.

I asked this question to Mac fans and geeks, any solution for this. Somehow, they said “This only means you used Windows for long period time. Resolution of blah-blah-blah….”, in summary, “You don’t need that feature.” I agree in some part. Most of the website, “MOST” of the website doesn’t have higher resolution than 1024×768. But to be honest with you, even now when I am writing this post, I am writing in the Windows in 3 reasons.

  1. I wanted to test Safari 5 for Windows
  2. I had some movies to download
  3. Writing post screen is bigger in Windows.

Simple as that. Bigger screen, less scroll. That’s why people love iMac, too. Big screen, no tower, high performance. That’s why I loved so much iMac for web surfing. Especially when you don’t need to scroll while googling, that’s pretty awesome. I hope Apple changes their mind, and think seriously about full screen mode. But of course, within the boundaries that it won’t just fail like IE series.

Now I feel so pathetic about IT stuffs; especially iPhone 3G

Let me be me, sarcastic and cynical as possible as I can in my place. Now I feel so much pathetic about RapidWeaver and iPhone 3G. Sorry RealMacSoftware and Apple. But I am enough of this. Since 2009, I have been using RapidWeaver and iPhone 3G as my primary application and geek. I was already aware of danger of using RapidWeaver, since I could find a lot of, A LOT OF claims that RapidWeaver randomly generates and reproduces codes inside the article so that it makes the article to load very, VERY SLOWLY. Which it took me about half an hour to erase and re-write every article to post it in my new WordPress based website.

The reason, which is also primary for me, made me write this post was, essentially the iPhone 3G. We already know, how fascinating when the iPhone 3G came out. Faster network, faster CPU, bigger storage. Anyway, Steve the CEO delivered wonderful speech about iPhone 3G.

And now, iOS4 came out, iPhone 4 came out.

How pathetic. iPhone 3G doesn’t support iOS4 fully, battery runs out like water, CPU cannot even hold up the speed of network, -Of course it is not about 3G network. It’s about Wi-Fi. multitasking? give it up. Push notification just evil as trojan virus. Instantly disrupts any kinds of phone call, especially when I am on Skype.

Bloody hell. What they are expecting me to do?! stay on the iOS3?! Give me some clues, so that I can make some  call! -literally, I wanna make phone call with no problem!- Please don’t tell me that I wanna go back to iOS3, iOS4 isn’t just working on the older models. And as good book says, please.
